To-Do Tuesday 4/13/2021

Happy To-Do Tuesday once again!  It's time to look back at my to-do list from last week, see how I did on accomplishing my goals, then post a new list for the week ahead. I'm linking up with the  To-Do Tuesday Weekly Link-up hosted by Chris at Chris Knits

I stayed on track for the most part last week, finishing four of my five tasks on the list. I keep avoiding the quilting on my little Around the Twist quilt, but I need to get started soon if it's going to get finished by the end of the month.

To-Do List for 4/6 - 4/12
1. Bowties 365--make at least 1 bowtie block every day
 ✔done

2. Sewcialites QAL--make block #26   ✔done

3. Scrap Magnet--make two  blue blocks   ✔four blocks done

4.
Around the Twist--figure out a plan for quilting  not done

5. 30's Kaleidoscope--choose fabric for corner triangles and start adding them to blocks   ✔done
I chose a pale mint green and got the corners stitched to my yellow blocks.

My goal for the next week is to continue with the on-going projects, plus to prep some blocks for one of my rainbow projects.

To-Do List for 4/13 - 4/19
1. GET VACCINATED! We have appointments for our 2nd dose tomorrow!
2. Bowties 365--make at least 1 bowtie block every day
3. Sewcialites QAL--make block #27
4. 30's Kaleidoscope--finish adding corner triangles
5. Glorified 9Patch--prep light blue blocks
6. Around the Twist--figure out a plan for quilting

I'm planning to keep moving forward with these projects and hope to avoid adding any new ones to the list (although I've been tempted by Alycia's current QOV mystery.) I'll report on my progress and post a new set of goals next Tuesday. I'm linking up with other To-Do Tuesday lists at Chris Knits.

  1. Hooray for your 2nd shot coming up! Just got my 2nd "jab" this past Friday and I have never been happier to get stabbed by a needle! If the pin and needle stabbings that happen in the sewing room conferred immunity, we quilters would have super immunity! ;-). I love your bow ties and your scrap buster blocks, and that 30's kaleidoscope is looking fabulous as well. I love the effect you're getting from mixing different prints in the same color family.

  2. Hooray for being fully vaccinated! I love the mint green corners with your kaleidoscope blocks. That is a pretty combination!

  3. All of your blocks and projects are very pretty - I like the Sewcialites block with the 1930's fabric. Scrap Magnet blocks are interesting like the blues. Hugs

  4. I got my second shot and did better with it than I did the first shot. I hope you have good luck with it too. All of your blocks are so pretty.

  5. The mint green is perfect for those corners! Congrats on all the progress on last week's to dos, hopefully this week as gone as well. We didn't have any problems with the second vaccination, but I know lots of people who did. Fingers crossed you and Your Guy didn't have any rough reactions.
