We are getting very close to the end of the year, and the totals on my stash report continue to go up, both for fabric used and fabric added. The fabric used in the past week was 1.5 yards for the Glorified 9Patch blocks that I showed in Monday's post. The addition was 9.5 yards from a Black Friday sale at Fat Quarter Shop. It seemed like a good time to stock up on lots of background fabrics.
I still have one more Thanksgiving weekend fabric order that may or may not arrive before the end of the year. It seems to have disappeared in the shipping chaos of a local FedEx location. All I can do is wait, but I'm glad it wasn't anything needed for Christmas.
2021 STASH TOTALS
Used last week: 1.50 yards
Used year to date: 176.875 yards
Added last week: 9.50 yards
Added year to date: 145.75 yards
Net used year to date 31.125 yards
Kate's 15 Minutes to Stitch Challenge at Life in Pieces has us tracking how many days each week we get in at least 15 minutes of stitching time. I have been working on a variety of projects, including one last Christmas gift, plus joining the blocks for a rainbow quilt.
15 Minute Challenge for 2021:

Great additions to the stash. That's been on nice thing about being so busy this month, I've not had time to be tempted by some of the really good sales that have been going on. Hope you had a very happy holiday.ReplyDelete
