Our quilt guild recently received a large donation of fabric from a quilter who was downsizing. After our January meeting, the fabric was up for sale at $4/yard. I took full advantage and ended up bringing home 16 yards in a variety of sizes from scraps and 1/4 yard pieces up to a 4-yard length of a dark navy, shown across the top. It's hard to resist bargains like that!
On the usage side of my report, there was 2 yards used for the sashing and borders on my Jabberwocky quilt top (see it HERE.)

Kate's 15 Minutes to Stitch Challenge at Life in Pieces has us tracking how many days each week we get in at least 15 minutes of quilting time. The start of a new month means new blocks for some of the quilt-alongs I have joined. There should be some new blocks finished and ready to be shown soon!
15 Minute Challenge for 2024:
1/28 - 2/3 7 of 7 days
2024 Total 34 of 34 days
Success rate 100%

Well that is a great way to add to the stash and you got some great pieces!
ReplyDeleteYou got some fun fabrics for a stash refresh at a good price. Happy stitching this week.
ReplyDeleteYou picked up some nice blenders and neutrals. Good oranges too, one of those colors you need in the stash but isn't a go to when buying.
