Stash Report and Stitching Time 7/16/2023

The stash report is moving back toward net zero (same amount of fabric used this year as added.) There were no new fabric additions this week, and I used a total of 1.5 yards. That included 1 yard for three A Maze Zing blocks (see them in yesterday's post,) plus 1/2 yard for the third block of the National Quilt Museum's Block of the Month. Unfortunately, I don't like the way my BOM block turned out (not enough contrast in the circle on the left,) and I am thinking about replacing some of the fabrics in it.

2023 STASH TOTALS
Used last week:                         1.50 yards
Used year to date:                   56.75 yards
Added last week:                         0.0 yards
Added year to date:                60.375 yards
Net added in 2023                3.625 yards

Kate's 15 Minutes to Stitch Challenge at Life in Pieces has us tracking how many days each week we get in at least 15 minutes of quilting time. It has been a steamy, hot week here in Georgia, and I've been glad to be able to stay inside and quilt even more than usual.

15 Minute Challenge for 2023:
7/9 - 7/15             7 of 7 days
2023 Total      186 of 196 days

Happy quilting everyone!

  1. I like both blocks, but if subtle isn't working for you definitely redo it. Great metrics this week. Stay cool and stitch on.
