After spending most of last week working on some major cleaning and organization in the sewing room, I took a break from that on Sunday and stitched up the last of my Stash Buster Square Dance blocks for July. Our color of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is medium-dark blue, and I have combined that with purple for my blocks.
I might finally have enough different color combinations finished for this quilt that I can play with layout ideas. It will be so much fun to get more of the colors up on the wall together!
Happy quilting everyone!

ooh... I like them. I made some earlier in the year but didn't like them very much. Evidently I picked the wrong fabric and placement. These really sparkle.
ReplyDeleteI really just love the color combos on this one, Julie...lovely choices...

Ooh, love the purple and dark blue together!
ReplyDeleteOh wow that is going to be a beauty!
ReplyDeleteJulie, I looked back in your past blog post at the "rainbow" setting for these blocks, and I like that setting, and also I like just the blue/purple ones all together. I shall have to wait to see what you do - very pretty blocks. Judy
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous! Your color palette, fabric choices and pattern are all perfection combined. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBlue and purple is such a pretty fabric combination. Looking forward to seeing how you decide to set these blocks.
