Design Wall Monday 11/1/2021

The majority of my quilting time over the weekend was spent working on the sashing and border for my Sew Colorful Stars quilt. I wrote about this project in Saturday's post, sharing some of the options I have been considering for the sashing. None of those ideas were working for me, but not long after that post, I came up with another plan that is making me much happier.

I am making little pinwheel stars that will fit in at the sashing intersections. The pinwheel centers finish at 2", which is also the finished width of my sashing. I'm using pastel colors so they don't compete too much with the main star blocks. I have 13 more stars to make--lots of little triangles ahead for me!

Happy quilting everyone!
