Stash Report Sunday 2014--Week #1

It's a new year and that means a fresh start on the stash reporting. It feels good to be starting with all zeroes on the board. I met my goal of using 100 yards last year (just barely!) and came very close to my other goal of using more fabric than was added, ending up with a net addition to the stash of 3.25 yards. 

 I am shooting for those same goals again in 2014, and this week is a step in the right direction. I made 2 blocks for the Tell It to the Stars mystery and 4 LeMoyne Stars for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  No additions this week.


Used this week:             .625  yards
Used year to date:         .625  yards
Added this week:            0 yards  
Added year to date:        0 yards 

Net year to date:            .625 yards used

    Isn't it nice to get a "reset" point? You had a good first week of stash busting.

    You should check out prairiemoonquilts.com and see if she is going to continue with her 350 block project - you count how many blocks you made each month - add your name - and hopefully win a prize. Just thought you might enjoy it.
    I think LeMoyne stars are tricky blocks to make. Good job so far.
