The lower part has the center of my Scrappy Sampler BOM quilt. I have been auditioning fabrics for the next group of blocks. Looking at the photo makes me think I should switch one or two fabrics to brighter colors rather than so many dark. Making those will be my next project. ReplyDeleteWhat a great project! I like the batik version, too. If I were you I'd go brighter. Accent the orange, add gold, maybe a touch of brighter green (not-quite-lime). Otherwise I think the overall effect will be muddy.
