There was a small amount of fabric used this week and no additions to the stash. I spent very little time quilting, but I did finish 12 border blocks for the Tell It to the Stars mystery quilt. These blocks are proving to be much more challenging than I expected. I still need to make 22 more blocks.

I have a love-hate relationship with mystery quilts. I like the process of sewing the blocks, but dislike the fact I don't know what it is going to look like in the end.
ReplyDeleteYour borders on the mystery quilt are going to be beautiful - love the colors.
ReplyDeleteThe borders do look complicated, but that's what will make the quilt stunning and not just a bunch of stars with a plain border.
ReplyDeleteAs Judy L. would say pieced borders are what adds to the beauty of the quilt and take a simple quilt to a spectacular one. Love the colors you chose.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors in those border blocks. Hopefully this week will be more productive.
