Scraphappy Saturday 11/8/14
There is very little progress to show on my Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects today. I have barely touched my sewing machine this week, so no new Rainbow LeMoyne stars yet. I did manage to baste some background hexies and get them sewn to the light blue hexie snowflake that had been made early this year.
Maybe I will have more to show next Saturday. I hope to do some cleaning up in the sewing room today, which should make it easier to be productive in the days ahead.
Check out this week's Rainbow Scrap Challenge posts--lots of amazingly beautiful rainbow projects to inspire you!

I spent two days this week cleaning up mine. It really has helped me, too many piles distracts me too! Love the wavy stripe light hexies they add a lot of movement to your block!
ReplyDeleteYour snowflake just in time for the holidays! There will be plenty of time for sewing in the months coming up. :)
ReplyDeleteEven if you don't enjoy the cleaning part, I hope the end result will help you get more done. It is always good to be organized once in a while.
ReplyDeleteLoving your snowflake--it's been a slow sewing week for me, too. Early signs of Holiday seasons approaching I think. Still getting my DH back on track...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteSeems like there are a lot of us cleaning up sewing rooms presently!! Love your light blue hexie.
ReplyDeleteThat wavy fabric is showing lots of action....your hexies look great.
ReplyDeleteI was picking up and putting away a little this week too. More to do but it is not so terrible looking into the room now =). Love those snowflakes...... I've got too many hand work projects I want to do next year and these are one of them.
ReplyDeleteThe light blue hexies are lovely. I need to work on my sewing area, too.
ReplyDeleteAt least you had some progress on at least one project. Hope you got your sewing room set to rights so you can enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteYour blue hexagon snowflake looks nice.
