First Trip in Red

It's a new month, which means a new color for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Our color for March is red. Last night I pulled out my 3" strips to choose red fabrics for my Scrappy Trips blocks, and I managed to finish the first block. Three more blocks are in progress--I hope to be able to show them next week.

I am linking up with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge on Saturday and at Oh Scrap! over at Quilting is more fun than Housework on Sunday. Be sure to check out all of the wonderful scrappy projects at both places.

  8. Wow, you did a lovely job of color gradation. So, are your squares 3", or did you cut your 3" strips down a bit? A TAW quilt is definitely on my bucket list.

  20. What a great idea to do scrappy trips for the RSC. Wish I had thought to do this for 2017. I am taking a break from the RSC this year but I love doing it. Yours will be great at the end of the year.
