Stitching and DeStashing--Week 23, 2020

Today's stash report covers the last two weeks because I didn't post my report a week ago. I guess there wasn't much to tell. Much of my quilting time over those two weeks has been on a secret project that is not ready to be revealed. What is ready to be counted on the stash report is three more sets of Scrap Snap blocks (turquoise, blue and pink) which used 1-1/8 yards of fabric. Here are a few blocks in each of the colors that I've done so far.

Used last week:                            1.125 yards
Used year to date:                      96.625 yards
Added last week:                             0.0 yards
Added year to date:                       2.75 yards
Net used year to date            93.875 yards

Kate's 15 Minutes to Stitch challenge at Life in Pieces has us tracking how many days each week we get in at least 15 minutes of quilting time. I missed two days over the past two weeks, and I can't even remember why! My total for the year is still very good.

15 Minute Challenge:
5/24 - 6/6                12 of 14 days
2020 Total             149 of 158 days

Happy quilting and stay safe everyone!

  1. That's a fun layout of color on your design wall! It's always fun to see how things change when you add the new color.

  2. Such beautiful colors in your blocks! The Scrap Snap blocks are intriguing!

  3. I love your technicolour rainbow emerging, but your Scrap Snap blocks have got me puzzled! I see squares and rectangles fitting together, but can't see how you put them together. Did you design it yourself or is there an official pattern?

  4. Those Scrap Snap blocks are really cool. I'm going to have to add that one as another potential Rainbow Scrap Challenge block. Your stash management and stitching time are both looking great so far this year.

  5. This layout really caught my eye. Can't wait to see where it lands.

  6. Those are great blocks on your design wall! Love the bright colors. And I am so impressed with your stash usage for the year - way to go!

  7. Hi,
Beautiful Scrap Snap Blocks...the colors just blend
right into each other...have a great day!

  8. I am loving your Snap Scrap blocks!! MUST remember that I don't need ANOTHER new project right now. SEW challenging!

  9. Oh wow! Pretty design! Love those colors! Thank you for sharing!

  10. I really like your scrap snap blocks. You've done a great job of blending colors from right to left. This is going to be a fun quilt.

  11. Looking good, I lime the bright pink against the blue. But I guess you still change the placement as you stitch blocks in new colours.
