Playing Catch-Up with the RSC

Quilting time continues to be almost non-existent, but I did manage to pull some red scraps and strips for my 3-D Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks. I'm not sure these are the final choices, but they are a good start. I hope to find time to begin cutting and piecing the blocks this week.

Be sure to check out all of the wonderful scrappy projects at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge every Saturday and at Oh Scrap! over at Quilting is more fun than Housework on Sunday.

  1. Sorry work continues to be so busy. Hopefully it will even out soon so you have a bit more time to play in the sewing room. You've got some gorgeous fabrics picked for this month.

  5. Good to know I am not the only one who has not done anything with red yet.! Looking forward to seeing what you create with them.

  7. Your reds show how much diversity there is to the color yet how well they go together. As I was pulling out reds, I found myself getting to much in a "matchy" mindset and thinking some of my reds looked too orange.
