After spending the past two weeks basting hexies with various shades of brown fabrics for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, I had a Ziploc bag stuffed full. Last night I decided it was time to lay them out and see what was there.
I have plenty of hexies to make a star and two snowflakes, which has been my goal each month. Now it's time to start stitching them together. Sometime soon I hope to decide on my design plan for all the stars and snowflakes so that I can be adding background hexies as I go.
I will be linking up to Hexie Friday at Billie Bee's Blog. Check it out for great ideas and inspiration.
Happy quilting!

ReplyDeleteWow, you've made lots of progress. Good luck with developing a layout. No matter what you decide, the finished project is going to be gorgeous.
