Stash Report and Stitching Time 11/30/2025

Did everyone have a nice Thanksgiving? We certainly did, although getting ready for it was exhausting. We have cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner many times before, usually just for the two of us. We were out of practice at hosting, but everything turned out well, and we've been enjoying the leftovers ever since!

Thanksgiving preparations took up much of my usual quilting time for the week, and I have no changes to report for the stash numbers. Yesterday's post included some photos of my newest project, Improv Alphabet, which was started recently in an "Outspoken" workshop with Elaine Poplin. This photo is another of Elaine's beautiful quilts. (Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the quilt.)

My collection of alphabet blocks increased by a few more yesterday. I'm past the half-way point!

Kate's 15 Minutes to Stitch Challenge at Life in Pieces has us tracking how many days each week we get in at least 15 minutes of quilting time. I was able to get my time in every day, although there were a couple of days with not much more than 15 minutes. Fortunately, I made up for some of those short days on Friday, with much of that day spent in the sewing room, making more improv letters.
