Stash Report Sunday 1/8/2017

I have good news on two fronts today. First is that I used 2 yards from my stash for the sashing and borders of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge 3D Folded Box quilt top, and I didn't add any new fabric this week. The second is that I have already met my One Monthly Goal (OMG!) for January by completing that quilt top. The only bad news is that the recent nasty weather has made it impossible for me to get a decent photo of the quilt top today.

2017 STASH TOTALS:
     Used last week:                   2.0 yards
Used year to date:               2.0 yards
Stashed last week:               0.0 yards
Stashed year to date:           0.0 yards

Net year to date:  2.0 yards used

One of the few good things about the current cold snap here is that I have been able to spend more time in the sewing room. I managed to get at least 15 minutes of quilting time on all 7 of the first 7 days of 2017. I'm hoping that Kate at Life in Pieces will continue her 15 Minute Challenge counts again this year.

15 Minute Challenge:
1/1 - 1/7                 7 of 7 days
2017 Total               7 of 7 days

  1. Lots of good news. I don't think I'd worry about the bad news. :)

  3. Congrats on a great start. The weather will warm up soon, so do all the sewing you can while it's cold. That's my theory.lol

  4. Definitely a great start to 2017, fabric out and lots of stitching time. I'm still doing the 15 minutes a day, it's the only way I'll get those graduation quilts done.
