Design Wall Monday 9/24/12


The hexagon quilt is finished!!
I finished quilting this wallhanging last weekend, then got the binding done a few days ago.  The finished size is about 37" x 39".  Like all projects, it is such a thrill to have it done.  I am very pleased with how it turned out.  Here is a closer shot of the quilting.


Once that was complete, I did a bit of cleaning up in the sewing room.  I also got caught up on the latest Grandmother's Choice blocks.  



It's time to continue the clean-up efforts, then try to figure out what the next project will be.

    Very clever quilting on your hexies - I'll have to remember that idea for one of my projects. I like how it pulls the border into the hexie design as well.

    What a nice hexie quilt, I'm always amazed at how many it takes to make even a small one. Wow. The quilting is great!
