The placemats were backed with this cute print from Piece O' Cake, with a date of 2001 on the selvage. Time to use that up!

Sunday Stash and Stitching 7/19/2026
I didn't expect to add any new fabric to the stash this week, but plans changed when I won the guild's monthly drawing. The prize included this beautiful batik jelly roll plus a coordinating 3-yard piece. I have many ideas on how I might use these beauties! 5.75 yards added, and no usage to report for the week.

Sunday Stash & Stitching 6/28/2026
The additions to my fabric stash earlier this month have left me wondering where it's all going to get stored since my fabric shelves are already close to full. It was time to clear out some older fabrics to make room for the new. Looking at this photo really lets me know that I wasn't in the mood for dark prints that day. These fabrics were all donated to the quilt guild's Community Service committee, 35.5 yards total (which is one yard more than what I bought at the other guild's recent fabric sale.)
Along with that donation, my outgoing number for the week also includes 7/8 yard for the bindings on my two latest finishes, the Chandelier quilt and Scraptastic Stars. No new fabric was added this week.

Sunday Stash and Stitching 6/14/2026
I bought a total of 34.5 yards of fabric at the sale. A few were 1-yard pieces, but most were 2-4 yard lengths. I'm trying to concentrate on getting backings and finishing more quilts. No fabric usage to report this week.

Sunday Stash and Stitching 6/7/2026
It has been a very busy week, most of it focused on the just-concluded Georgia Celebrates Quilts show. I'm working on a separate post about the show, but I will admit here that my entries did very well. Anyway, the week included dropping off quilts one day, helping hang quilts another day, visiting the full show the next day, then picking up my quilts at the end of the week.
Along with all the show activity, I worked on a new tablerunner, plus finished my Blue Onion quilt. I made 24 Blue Onion blocks, but used only 20 of them in the quilt. These are the four extra blocks.
