The main focus in my sewing room this week was on the Rail Fence Spinner blocks that I've been making all year as part of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I started the week by making five blocks, which used a total of 1/4 yard of fabric. That brought my total number of blocks up to 80.
The next step was to start stitching blocks together. I joined 48 blocks together to make a small quilt top, which you can see in yesterday's post. I used 1/2 yard of fabric for the border.
The rest of my spinner blocks are in the process of being joined together in an on-point setting. Here's the planned layout. I still need to figure out a border for this version.
