It's finally time to report the fabric used for the Ring Cycles quilt top that I have been assembling for the past several weeks. I counted all the fabrics used in the 9-patch blocks when they were made last year. The current total is for the rest of the background fabric--many hexagons and triangles, 3.5 yards used and no fabric added this week! The quilt top needs some serious pressing and maybe a final border before it is ready to share.

That is an amazing pattern. Looks very difficult. Can't wait to see the whole quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt. Can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt--so delicate looking with all that lovely light space--hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteThat is such an amazing quilt! Looking forward to seeing a picture of the full project. Great stash busting this year and on finding time to sew. Some weeks it just doesn't work out.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt top and great stash usage too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! I've had the Jack's Chain quilt on my list of quilts I want to make, but haven't had the bravery to do it yet. The Y seams still scare me.
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed by your usage for the year. I like the sewing every day challenge, too. I may set a goal like that next year. Thank you for that.
