Grayscale quilt top 50" x 70" |
My quilt features fabrics in a variety of blue and green prints. I especially like the streak of bright/lime greens running through the center. The main pattern is a log cabin variation, Grayscale by Allison at Cluck Cluck Sew. The quilt top went together very quickly, and I hope to make a backing, then get them packed up and sent off to Vegas over the weekend.
If you want more information on this quilt drive, check out the Las Vegas Modern Quilt Guild page HERE. They will accept finished quilts (including other patterns), tops, blocks, backing, batting, or monetary donations.

Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt. I especially love the hearts and the bright green lines in the center as you mentioned. Are you quilting and binding before you send it off this weekend?! If you are, you are really amazing - I couldn't get that done that quickly. Thanks for sharing the link - I will check it out. ~smile~ Roseanne
It's a gorgeous quilt. You are right there are too many of these bad things happening, just terrible. Bless you for helping out.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful and perfect for someone who has suffered so much. The hearts and the green streak show love, hope and life to me. Thank you for your generosity.

ReplyDeleteI am just loving your version of this quilt! The color scheme is perfect and two hearts look awesome! Well done! Your quilt will be so appreciated!
ReplyDeleteI love the limited color scheme that you chose for this quilt. My group is doing a rainbow bright and a rainbow light version. I agree with you... It feels good to help when so many are hurting.
