Folded Box blocks, tutorial by Donna Lynn Thomas |
I hope to finish assembling this quilt top before the end of the month. In fact, I am proclaiming that as my One Monthly Goal (OMG!) for January. It's time to get these blocks all joined together and put something else up on the design wall for a change! I'm sure the regular readers of my blog are getting tired of seeing the same project up here every week.

Great looking quilt top. Thanks for thinking up with Elm Street Quilts One MOnthly Goal.
ReplyDeleteThat piano key border works so well with the blocks, rainbow scraps make such lovely quilts :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Nice job! I like the border as well, and I like your "scrappy" blocks, too.
ReplyDeleteNot once did I get tired of seeing get this top come Together! It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOMG indeed....that is an awesome quilt! Love the scrappy sashings, I always ponder on what to do with my neutral scraps. Do you mind if I "copycat" your quilt? It really speaks to me--love it, love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this block and would like to make it during the RSC year. Could you share this 3D Folded Box block pattern with me if you don't mind me copying your RSC idea?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great when you can combine two challenges? And the Stashbusters have begun "By the Book," a 2017 challenge to make patterns from quilt books that have been on our shelves for [insert length of time here].
ReplyDeleteYou've already made a lot of progress, you should easily meet your OMG. This is such a fun and colorful quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour rainbow quilt is lovely! The piano key border is a great addition. Good luck on your goal!
ReplyDeleteI agree with every one this is a bright cheerful quilt and the border is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Julie! The piano key border adds so much. Very cheerful on this dreary winter day!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! That's a great block to play with, so many fun ways to mix up prints.
ReplyDeleteGreat OMG plan. I do like those blocks and the piano key border works really well.
ReplyDeleteYour Rainbow Quilt is so beautiful! I love your idea of using the same block pattern! Looks lovely! Congratulations!
