My last yellow blocks for August at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge were finished before the end of the month, but not in time to post them in August. Here are my yellow Jabberwocky blocks.
Jabberwocky, blocks finish at 10.25"
pattern by Judy Martin in The Block Book
Since I was in Jabberwocky mode, I continued straight into making aqua/teal/turquoise blocks for September.
Before stashing the blocks away in a bin, I combined the two color groups on the design wall.
Be sure to check out all of the wonderful scrappy projects at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge every Saturday, and at Oh Scrap! over at Quilting is more fun than Housework on Sunday.
Happy quilting everyone!

Very colorful blocks! Teal and yellow would make a wonderful color combination for a quilt of it's own.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stars! Looking forward to seeing this quilt grow. ;^)
ReplyDeleteGreat start on the color teal! Your yellow stars are soo pretty, too!
ReplyDeleteNice blocks, these two colors are already complimenting each other
ReplyDeleteI just pulled out my copy of the Block Book and found the pattern. Now I'm even more impressed with your blocks. This looks complicated and I don't think I could make the blocks as precisely as you have done. Bravo.

What a nice variety of AQUA/teal/turquoise to add to your growing project, Julie!
