My quilting time over the weekend was mostly spent cutting pieces for multiple projects that I am making as part of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I was able to stitch up some of each kind of block using my orange scraps, our assigned color for September.
I'm going to fix that one block, then continue making more of all these blocks with the goal of getting one set done before Saturday to share with the RSC group.

Happy quilting everyone!

You have some really cute orange blocks. I've been having fun with orange this month too.
ReplyDeleteThis, in itself, makes a great block! You should go with it. TOTALLY original !.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kat. A single block, a table topper. Or a baby quilt. Very lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour RSC blocks are always so enticing! One of these days, I’ll jump on board and start a RSC quilt of my own. You’re inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteI wouldn’t have noticed the mistake. Only after you gave me details could I see what you meant, Easy fix, though. And, glad you discovered it before you made lots more of the block.
I agree with the other comments, your eight different blocks arranged together would make a nice baby quilt - maybe with each block enlarged to a larger size. Thanks for joining the Design Wall Mondays linky party. Hugs, Judy
Very fun blocks. You've got some very fun scrappy blocks in the works. Since you've got so many scrappy projects in the the works, are you seeing any decrease in your scrap bins?
ReplyDeleteMint and Orange = Yummy :-)
ReplyDeleteLooking at your layout I thought 'what a neat layout'. Not knowing the sizes I can see this being a small wall quilt or even enlarged enough to make a baby quilt. It'll be fun to see what you do with your blocks as 2021 ends... Yes, share with us -- are your scrap bins getting empty?
