I was able to complete two quilt tops from those blocks, one using warm colors and one using all cool colors.

At the beginning of January, I shared this photo of the Scrappy Trips blocks that were left over after I completed my two quilt tops. My goal for the month was to make three more green blocks, then get all the blocks joined together into yet another top.

I'm happy to report that finishing this quilt top was my January goal for the One Monthly Goal link-up at Elm Street Quilts. Month #1 for 2018 was a success! I'm so pleased to have all three of these quilt tops completed!

These are very fun quilts. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
ReplyDeleteThese are both stunning quilts. I think curating the scraps to warm or cool for each quilt really made them special.
ReplyDeleteWow! You did a great job on all those quilts. I love the idea of using this block for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Must copy your idea!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful quilts...love them both--hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteAll three quilts turned out beautifully. My favorite is the cool colored one. Congrats on meeting your OMG for January.
ReplyDeleteSO PRETTY! Need to make some more of those myself as I love them so!
ReplyDeleteWaytago, Julie! The "cool" setting is cool.
