Beautiful quilt! I love the idea of limiting the colors because it looks so good right now.
ReplyDeleteWow!That will turn out amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing ! Love the pattern / have not seen anything like this before with nine patches.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be another amazing quilt! I like your idea of using just cool colors for the blocks.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with the previous commenters - the best word for this quilt is amazing!! I am enjoying watching as you built it. I'm also very glad it's YOU, not ME who is doing it. I get a headache just contemplating the angles and such.
ReplyDeleteSuch an incredible pattern! Your quilt will be stunning, no matter what color combination you choose. Can't wait to see the quilt grow!!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I've always wanted to make a Jacks' chain quilt.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Just AWWEEESOME!!
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be a wonderful quilt. That pattern is on my to-do list so it will be great watching you put yours together.

OMGosh!!! This is going to be an awesome quilt! I love the background you are using. Is that grey dots? I can't really tell. I look forward to watching as you progress on this one!!
ReplyDeleteJack's chain is on my "to do" list and I think you've just moved it up higher on my list. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is a magical quilt and would be nice in the cool tones. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is amazing. I can't wait to see this one as a finished quilt.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is amazing! When you showed your ideas for what you might do, I never noticed that the ring cycle wuilt used 9 patches. I love the effect that creates!
ReplyDeleteThat's a quilt I've always wanted to do, too. Yours is so gorgeous that I may have to start one of my own much sooner than I planned...
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool Julie! Love it!
ReplyDeletewow! what a stunning and different way to use the humble 9patch...
ReplyDeleteJennifer stole my word - STUNNING!!
ReplyDeleteSo much great movement when all those blocks come together. I never would have dreamed up the setting, but it makes all the difference.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt will be a beauty! Does your pattern have the set-in piecing? Like others, always wanted to give that one a try. I saw the pattern on Craftsy--the Kaffe Fasset version was quite something.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a stunning quilt! The layout looks like mosaic tiles.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this an amazing pattern - it's looking beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow! I am impressed. Can't wait to see your progress.

ReplyDeleteThis quilt is going to be amazing! Thanks for sharing it with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteA very unusual layout, I really like how it is coming together. Will be fun to see the finished project!
ReplyDeleteI love this layout-a more-complicated version of Jack's Chain that really sparkles.
ReplyDeleteI have a Jack's Chain ready to hand quilt. I think I love this version even more than the normal Jack's Chain. Thanks for the link to the pattern.
ReplyDeleteI love how you have them all laid out!
ReplyDeleteOH! Gorgeous. It reminds me of the old Jack's Chain quilts. It's been on my list to make for years but it's a bear, all the angles and inset seams. Love what you're doing here. LeeAnna
ReplyDeleteI love your ring cycle blocks. This will be a beautiful quilt.
