Stitching and DeStashing--Weeks 6 & 7, 2019

It's Sunday, which means time for another stash report. I missed posting last week, so today's report covers the last two weeks. My yardage used covers 8 yellow blocks for the Stair Steps quilt, plus one Framed Crumb Star block, all made as part of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. You can see all of my new blocks in yesterday's post. This was another week (actually two weeks) without any new fabric added to the stash.

2019 STASH TOTALS
Used last week:                          .50 yards
Used year to date:                   3.625 yards
Added last week:                         0.0 yards
Added year to date:                     0.0 yards
Net used year to date:         3.625 yards

It has been difficult to settle back into a regular routine of quilting time lately. Over the past two weeks I was able to spend at least 15 minutes a day quilting on 11 of the 14 days. Progress has been slow on all of my recent projects.

15 Minute Challenge:
2/3 - 2/16        11 of 14 days
2019 Total        41 of 47 days

Happy quilting everyone!

  1. Sounds like life is still running on overload for you. Hopefully you can get back into a good groove soon and things will calm down some.

  2. You're doing well on your progress. Spending time quilting is better for your health and every little bit really does add up.

  3. Take it one day at a time. I try for my 15 minutes and making it most days, but I'm not the speed I normally am. I hate being ill.

  4. I wish I could say no new fabric, but I have bought way too much that last few weeks!
