Fun with Pink and Purple

This has been one of those weeks where I bounced around between several different quilting projects. It's hard to tell if I am making significant progress on any of them until I start putting my blocks up on the wall. One of my main projects for the past week was making more of the Folded Box blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Our color for July is hot pink, and I finished five of those blocks, plus there are a few more cut out and ready to stitch. I have also been playing catch-up for previous months--we had purple as the color of the month back in March, and I got three of those done too.

Be sure to check out all of the wonderful scrappy projects at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge every Saturday and at Oh Scrap! over at Quilting is more fun than Housework on Sunday.

  4. Your box blocks are looking great together. How big are they and how big a quilt will you be doing? I love them more all the time.

  12. Your folded box blocks look great. Jumping around can make it seem like there's no progress, but some times that's the only way to get something done.
