Choosing fabrics is my least favorite part. I tend to put together strange combinations that somehow work out later. It might be because I am hue blind. But probably b/c when I look to nature, the colors are there.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are having SEW much fun with your project. Extra GREEN blocks make you quilt sing. Looks PERFECT to me!! (Of course, it's one of my favorite colors, so that might sway my opinion more than most.)
ReplyDeletePop, pop, pop! Lots of zing in those blocks.
ReplyDeleteLove all the colors! This is going to be a gorgeous quilt. You picked a great block for this year's challenge.

ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a vibrant, beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteI agree that choosing the fabrics is a HUGE favorite of mine -- sometimes I even pull fabrics for a wish-list project, take photos, and then put the yardage away again. Your blocks are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks! Your quilt will be quite lovely when it is all together.
ReplyDeleteThe more I see of your boxes the more I am determined to make some. Good thing there is one more green week.

ReplyDeleteThese are very pretty blocks, Julie. It's fun how in this arrangement you get randomly coloured 4-patches in between. Enjoy making the purple blocks.
ReplyDeletePretty colors for very pretty blocks.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks. I'm with you--my favorite part of quilting is looking through the scraps to find combinations that work well together.
