Stash Report Sunday 6/29/14

It's hard to believe that we are at the halfway point of the year--where did the weeks go?! My summer break has just flown by, and soon I will be returning to work. Financially that is a good thing, but I sure do like having more free time for quilting. How much longer until I can retire? (Too long!)

After my shopping spree at Mary Jo's a week ago, this was a week focused on fabric usage. I made two 12" LeMoyne Star blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, one Mariner's Compass block, two hexie snowflakes and one hexie star, plus contributed solid white fabric for a signature quilt being made for a retiring co-worker. That will all make a bit of a dent in that red number.

  1. Love those stars, what a great job. Purple is always my favorite.

  2. Really do like your yellow combinations, its not a colour I would opt for normally. But it just proves how blind sighted we can be at times and how much value there is in stepping out of our safety colours!

  4. Where has summer gone? It's hard to believe that the year is more than half over.

If you keep up your pace, you should back in the black by the end of the year.
