The main change to my stash this week was three yards used for a shirt I made as a birthday gift to my husband. It's not a quilt, but the fabric is gone from the sewing room and there will be a few remnant pieces going into my scrap collection. The best part is seeing how handsome he looks wearing it!
I also made a set of teal LeMoyne Stars for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Those used up .75 yards of fabric. I will show them on my design wall tomorrow.

The shirt is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Kudos on the great job of making your husband's b'day present.
ReplyDeleteLovely shirt!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job on the shirt. It's been so long since I've sewn clothing that I'm not sure I'd remember to use a 5/8" seam allowance. Great stash busting, fabric out is fabric out.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally impressed with your shirt for your hubby. That looks great!! I don't think I would have the patience any more to sew clothing, and definitely not a man's shirt. Your husband is one lucky guy to have you.
