My brown Dancing Stars blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge were finished up last weekend. I hope to have a chance over the long Thanksgiving weekend to put some of them up on the design wall along with the colors from previous months. I can't wait to start joining them all together!
I have also been joining together my brown hexies. The first "snowflake" is nearly complete, and next I will get going on making the big star.

Looking forward to seeing all your Dancing Star blocks together. It's going to be a gorgeous quilt. You have some very pretty brown scraps. I used to think brown was blah, but it I'm learning it doesn't have to be.

ReplyDeleteAnd the snowflake is gorgeous. I may have to try some small hexies next year. My quilt had 6 inch hexies and that was a lot of work! I can't imagine a quilt of small hexies.
