Let them be; maybe they will grow on you. In any case, once you add some red, pink and real blue blocks to the lot, your eyes might tell you another story about these purple blocks. Why not resist sewing ...There is no right or wrong. Why not resist sewing them together until you have enough of all colors to do a quilt. Then perhaps their final placement will be decided by their neighboring blocks (the blue-purples next to a blue neighbor, for instance) to give you a more nuanced gradation in the quilt.
