Stitching and DeStashing--Week 20, 2020

The past week was a fairly productive one for quilting. I finished making the last of my blocks for Frolic, the Bonnie Hunter 2019 mystery, and now I am starting to get them all joined together. Yesterday I made the rest of my Stashbuster Square Dance blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. These 30 blocks used 3/4 yard of fabric. No new fabric was added last week.

2020 STASH TOTALS
Used last week:                            .75 yards
Used year to date:                      94.5 yards
Added last week:                          0.0 yards
Added year to date:                    2.75 yards
Net used year to date            91.75 yards

Kate's 15 Minutes to Stitch challenge at Life in Pieces has us tracking how many days each week we get in at least 15 minutes of quilting time. We are continuing to make hospital gowns for my job, but working at home. It's tough, but I'm getting into more of a routine, which makes it easier to get back into my quilting habits. I had no trouble getting in my 15 minutes of quilting time this week.

15 Minute Challenge:
5/10 - 5/16                  7 of 7 days
2020 Total             131 of 137 days

Happy quilting and stay safe everyone!

  3. It has to be hard to stitch all day for your job and then to want to go back to the machine to stitch more at night, even with it being your own projects. Congrats on getting in all the time this week.
