Squared Away in Teal and Turquoise

I'm always happy when our Rainbow Scrap Challenge color assignment for the month is turquoise and teal. I love playing with those colors, the ones that are too green to be blue and too blue to be green. Unfortunately, quilting time has been hard to find recently, so I haven't gotten very far with my scraps.

I did manage to make this month's Squared Away blocks. Fortunately, it was a very quick and easy block called Country Lanes. I had intended to make only three blocks, but kept wanting to try different color combinations and ended up with five blocks instead. The two blocks at the bottom right share the same fabrics in different layouts. I can't decide which I like better!

  5. Great blocks. You always come up with great combos, and with these blocks it started with your inspired use of gray for background. No need to reply - I know how we’re all struggling with Blogger, and none of us are going away!

  6. Looks like you might just have to keep going with the TEAL/TURQUOISE for an entire Country Lane quilt!!!

  8. Looks like you made good use of your little bit of quilting time. Isn't it fun to use the same fabrics in a little different layout? Blocks can look so different.
