Pink Scraps for Valentine's Day

I haven't had much time to play with my pink scraps this week. I did finish up a few more applique circle blocks, and I have several more ready to stitch. Like many applique projects, the prep work can take just as long as the stitching.

"True Colors" by Nancy Mahoney
from the book Simple Circles and Quick Curves

Since I don't have much new to show this week, I am sharing a recent finish that is appropriate for Valentine's Day. I made this baby quilt for my niece and her husband's little girl. Rebecca Marie was born in January. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have any photos of the finished quilt, just of the top.

Happy Valentine's Day and happy quilting!

  5. Love your pinks... the black and white blocks are lovely with the addition of the pink circles. You've gotta have some warm colors to balance those two fabrics. And the baby quilt is inspired - and inspiring. One of these days... I'll have some greatgrands. (heart)
