Stash Report Sunday 2014--Week #3

After working 55 hours the previous week, it was a relief to get back to a more normal schedule last week. It also meant I had some time for quilting again, and that is a good thing. I was about to go into withdrawal over not getting my quilting fix!

In the past week I was able to make 6 more LeMoyne Stars plus 9 little scrappy blue nine-patch blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I also made 44 bowtie blocks for the border of my Scrappy Sampler quilt and have started joining them together.

Used this week:             1.375  yards
Used year to date:        2.0  yards

Added this week:            0 yards
Added year to date:        yards

Net year to date:
         2 yards used

  1. You are going to end the year with some beautiful scrappy quilts. Your hexie quilt is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

  2. How do you figure out how much yardage you've used for your stash report? Do you just go by the square inches of the finished blocks or quilt (which doesn't include seam allowances)? Or do you have some other way of figuring it out? I thought I would like to try tracking my stash this year, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Thanks.

  3. Glad that work has eased off a bit. You are still in the black for week 3, I blew that big time this week.
